I dont know where the days are going to.  Its now the Easter weekend!  Phone calls, phone calls and more phone calls.  I have over the last few weeks been concentrating on building up the database for potential advertisers.  Its a hard slog sometimes, getting the name of the correct person.  Anyone who works in sales will know this.

Anyway great news.  I was on the phone trying to sell advertising as you do!  The potential client offered us 2 outstanding products as competition prizes.

We may get closer to our goal of 10,000 driving instructors sooner than we think, we have had interest expressed from a very well known national driving school with locations all over the UK.  Again I will keep you posted with developments.

Firstly apologies, I have not been updating you all weekly.  I blame the fact that is has been incredibly busy. 

What with attending Marketing Live audiences, speaking to potential advertisers and looking to recruit staff, its all go.

We have had some fantastic results with our search engine optimisation and I have been making sure that everyone knows about this.  Check it out on our Latest News page.

We have some great meetings set up, with some very well known names within the industry.  You will just have to keep reading in the next few weeks before I can spill the beans as to who they are.

We are getting assistance from next week to help us get to our goal of 10,000 driving instructors listed on our site.  We currently have only 3,700.  So they will be as busy as me.

Hi all well i have just been informed that i will be writing a blog on a weekly basis about what is happening with Search2drive!

Well i have only been here one week and what a week it has been! Currently i am interviewing to find sales staff which is one part of my job. I oversee sales of the site so i will keep you all in formed what i will and have been doing once i settle in.

So far i have started 2 additional sales staff one in South Tyneside and one in Nottingham they will be contacting driving schools and local advertisers. I will hopefully have 10 staff across the UK in the next few weeks.
