MAXI-COSI CABRIOFIX – THE SAFEST SEAT IN ITS CLASS

It sounds simple, but a parent’s first step to choosing their baby’s car seat is to look at their own car.  The safest seats on the market are those with IsoFix fittings.  This means that they have a base that clips into a car’s existing anchorages that will have been factory-installed.

If the parent’s car is IsoFix enabled, then they should buy an IsoFix seat.  Not only does this make the seat easier to take in and out of the car, it also increases the likelihood of fitting it correctly.

Even if dad’s car has IsoFix then he should take into account other people whose cars the baby may travel in: granny, nanny, partner, etc. that might not have the right fittings.

A good way of dealing with this issue is to choose a seat like the Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix.  Not only is this the safest seat on the market, having come out top in consumer tests, but it can also be used with both IsoFix fittings and traditional car seat belts.  Buying a CabrioFix therefore avoids having to have several seats for different cars.

The CabrioFix seat has an integral harness, side-impact protection, built-in sun canopy, and comfortable carry handle.  It also has a removable wedge, making the seat flatter for young babies and adjusting to a more traditional seated position as the child grows.  This special feature avoids the baby being in a seated position too long, which is not good for its development.

This Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix is compatible with a wide range of pushchairs. In fact, many manufacturers have designed their pushchairs, buggies and strollers to fit this award-winning car seat.  Therefore, it’s not necessary to buy the same brand of car seat and stroller and it’s often better to ‘mix and match’ to get the features you want.

Win A Car Competition

The competition was focused on our home area of the North East of England and was featured in 4 regional newspapers - The Journal, The Evening Gazette, The Sunday Sun, and the Metro.

Over 1,000 people entered the competition hoping to win the prize - a brand new Ford Fiesta Style and the lucky winner was Mr Kevin Shotton of South Shields who had an extra special Christmas gift in 2008!!

We know how important it is to have a reliable car when you start out driving and so this was the perfect prize for us to give away to new drivers and one which everyone will be interested to win.
